Complaint Process

Each complaint is assigned to a supervisor, who conducts an internal affairs investigation. The result of the investigation is reviewed by the Division Commander. The Division Commander either accepts it as submitted or returns it for additional investigation. Once the Division Commander accepts the investigation, the investigation is submitted to the Chief of Police for final disposition.
